Dolly showed so many of us how to lead with kindness, dream big, and never stop giving. Allison and Emy have carried that inspiration their whole lives and are passing it down to the next generation. Now she has a permanent home on our beer garden wall, painted by the amazing Chad Brady.

The prize bags are packed and ready for tomorrow’s kids’ costume contest!
The winners of Cutest/Funniest, Scariest, and Handmade will each take home a bag full of games, puzzles, glow sticks, and treats, plus four passes to the Building for Kids Children’s Museum. The Family category winner gets the big one: a Timber Rattlers bag with hats, a bobblehead, a T-shirt, and four box seats to a 2027 game.

Here`s the plan for Halloween at McFleshman`s on Saturday, October 31. The artist fair and trick-or-treating run from noon to 4, and so does free pumpkin carving (you keep what you carve). Frankie and Viv play live from 1 to 3, and we`ll announce the kids` costume contest winners at 3.
Rounding out our vendor lineup are Merely Yours with handmade jewelry and festive decor, and Heather Nelson with leaf casts, jewelry, and paintings. Come in costume, bring the kids, and we`ll see you in the beer garden.
Calling all little ghouls, goblins, and superheroes! Our kids` costume contest has four categories this year: cute/funny, scary, handmade, and family. Winners in cute/funny, scary, and handmade each take home tickets to the Building for Kids museum in downtown Appleton. The family category winner gets a Timber Rattlers prize pack, with T-Rats swag and four box seats to a 2027 regular season game.

Bring the whole crew to McFleshman`s this Halloween! Our family-friendly party runs Saturday, October 31, from noon to 4 in the beer garden. We`ll have an artist and vendor fair, free pumpkin carving (you keep what you carve), a kids` costume contest, and live music from Frankie and Viv.
Every one of our vendors will have treats on hand, so the kids can trick-or-treat their way through the fair. Some of the makers joining us: Scents and Sensibility with vintage-inspired collage art and organic soy candles, LokiHazy Crafts with D&D prints and crochet, and River Jannsen with animal drawings and bracelets.
Public House Pint is back in cans! Our dry Irish stout is rich, roasty, and smooth, the kind of pint you`d get if you walked into any Irish pub and just asked for "a pint." And if that label looks familiar, it should. It`s the stained glass window right behind our bar.

This Halloween, we`re bringing live music to the beer garden. Frankie and Viv are an acoustic-electric sibling duo who play across a lot of different styles, all with a fresh, unique sound. If you`re a fan of The Lumineers, Billy Strings, or The Beatles, you`re going to love them. They`ll be on stage from 1 to 3, right in the middle of our family-friendly Halloween party on Saturday, October 31.
While you`re listening, shop our artist fair. A few of the makers you`ll find there: Stupid Kid Studio (@stupidkidstudio) with bookmarks, stickers, and dice towers; Meg Larson with vintage boho paintings; and Nbéwen (@nbewen_) with tiny animal stickers, linocut prints, and zines.
Our taproom doesn`t have any screens, which is a little rough while the Brewers are still playing baseball in mid-October. Honestly, we wish we could watch too, and a few of us may or may not be sneaking peeks on our phones behind the bar. Because GO CREW!
So feel free to pull up the game on your phone while you`re here. Or don`t. We know it can be a lot to watch sometimes.
We still wanted in on the fun, though. Every game day for the rest of the postseason, we`ll post a secret word or phrase in our stories. Tell your bartender and you`ll get $2 off your first pint, to celebrate the Crew`s run.

Happy Dolly Day. We love Dolly around here, so much that today we gave our newest tank her name. Say hello to Dolly, who`s officially working 9 to 5 (and then some) in our brewhouse.
We`re celebrating all day in the taproom. Design your own Coat of Many Colors, sketch a Dolly-inspired tattoo, and bring a book for area kids. We`re collecting through September 30, because nobody put more books in kids` hands than she did.

The Appleton rock band closes out the season blending power/pop, punk, and alternative — fronted by Sarah Lynn Huss with Chase Thyssen, Travis Heid, and Ivy Danials. Their debut album "A Fall Into Oblivion" is in the works.
