115 South State Street - Appleton, Wisconsin
Polar Bear Club is hibernating. Beers & Gears is here. 🚲🍺
The cold is gone, the days are getting longer, and we`ve got a brand new way to celebrate summer with you. Introducing Beers & Gears — McFleshman`s summer punch card program, running May 1st through October 31st.
Here`s how it works: ride your bicycle to McFleshman`s and earn a stamp on your Beers & Gears punch card. Every visit on two pedaling wheels counts — one stamp per visit, per day. Collect 20 stamps and win a McFleshman`s Beers & Gears cycling cap. Keep filling cards all summer long and keep on winning — there are more prizes to collect as you go.
A few things to know: this program is for bicycles only. Human powered, no motors, no engines. Just you, your bike, and the promise of a cold pint waiting at the finish line.
Pick up your punch card at the bar on your first ride in. That`s it. That`s all you have to do.
Appleton, let`s ride. 🚲

The response to our first call has been wonderful — we`ve already locked in artists for most of our summer Wednesdays, and we`re genuinely excited for what`s taking shape in the beer garden starting June 3.
That said, we still have 7 open Wednesdays we`d love to fill — so we`re opening a second (and final) round of submissions through April 30.
If you missed the first post, or you`ve been sitting with "should I?" — this is your sign.
We`re still looking for: Painters, Illustrators, Printmakers, Ceramicists, Fiber Artists, Woodworkers, Glass Artists, Zinesters, Writers, Comic Artists, Live Makers and Anyone doing process work, Anyone with something they`ve made and want to share.
There`s no fee, no commission, no pressure — just a welcoming, low-key Wednesday from 7–9 PM while Open Mic is going. Set up in the beer garden, bring what you`ve made, and hang out with us. And if weather turns on us, we move everything inside — the show goes on.
If you`re interested, email Emy at [email protected] by Thursday, April 30. Everyone who reaches out will get our short interest survey, and we`ll pick the final seven artists from those responses.

Today we celebrate beer—and the people who make it matter.
Go vote. Then come spend some time in the taproom—
no screens, just postcards, crosswords, pints, and conversation.
Cheers to National Beer Day, and to this community we get to share it with.

Tomorrow is National Beer Day.
A reminder of why we do this—beer, conversation, and being together.
So we’re keeping it simple.
Put the phone down. Pick the pint up. Stay awhile.
We’ve got a few ideas waiting for you in the tap room, but the goal is easy: be here, together.
Also—tomorrow is Election Day. Go vote. Then come grab a beer.
